Leeds railway station is located on New Station Street, and serves both national and regional routes. The station was originally opened in 1938 and became the city's main rail hub after the closure of Leeds Central in 1967. It was greatly modernised in 2002 and 2008 to make it one of the most high tech and best-served stations in the country. Leeds Station is situated to the rear of the famous Queen's Hotel, and all of the city centre's attractions are just a few minutes’ walk away.

Leeds train station is well-connected to Leeds Bradford Airport thanks to the frequent Flying Tiger bus services running 7 days a week, every half an hour. Buses also run from Bradford Interchange and Harrogate train stations.
